Welcome to our Community!
Exquisitely landscaped Brookview Park is a senior community where at least one homeowner must be age 55 and an additional resident of the home is age 50 and over. Brookview is not an RV park, but for a list of California communities that may have RV spaces, click: Mobilehome and Special Occupancy (RV) Parks Listing located in the HCD.ca.gov website.
A recipient of the Environmental Design Award by the City of Concord, Brookview Park is the most exceptional community of manufactured housing in the Bay Area. Feature article in Better Homes & Gardens magazine, April 1977; New Shelter magazine, September 1980; and a mention in the architectural and community planning book, The Form of Housing, edited by University of California at Berkeley professor Sam Davis, published by Van Nostrand Reinhold Co., 1977.
Natural colors and textures are the themes of this 77-space park, where a verdant environment and an attention to detail enhance simple, well-built manufactured homes. All homes have engineered wood sidings and wood awnings surrounded with landscape accents of mossy Mt. Lassen lava boulders, smooth cobblestones and rustic railroad ties. Streets and common walks meander through hundreds of trees, from multi-hued American Sweetgums to majestic California redwoods. Even remnants of the old walnut orchard are still there to honor the past and help transform this little corner of the East Bay into a pleasant Tahoe-twin retreat for empty-nest baby-boomers, recent retirees and seniors on the go.
